Annual Lucky Shamrock 5K Run

The Annual Lucky Shamrock 5K Run is a great way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and
the arrival of spring! Due to popular demand this race has been changed to become a
cross country run through the beautiful C.M. Crockett Park in Midland, VA. There are
eleven divisions in both male and female age categories. Awards will be presented to
all 1st, 2nd and 3rd place division winners. Preregistered participants are guaranteed
a special event t-shirt on race day. Day of race registrants will receive a t-shirt as long
as supplies last. Note: This race will be on a combination of grass and gravel surfaces.
If on the day of race it is determined to be too wet/muddy, there will be an alternate
course utilizing the surface treated park path and asphalt Rogues Road.

2nd Annual Three Fox Kite Flight

Bring your kite and join in the fun in the skies above Three Fox Vineyards. It's our
2nd Annual Kite Flight!  The vineyard always has great breezes in the Spring for kite
flying and we're going to take advantage of them for some early springtime fun. 
We'll have prizes for the following categories: Best in Show, Most Time Aloft,
Most Creative Kite, Youngest Kite Flyer, Youngest at Heart. 
We are honored to host the Middleburg Humane Foundation on this day as well. 
They will bring some of their wonderful dogs that are available for adoption and have
pictures of others, as well information about their programs, adoptions, volunteer
opportunities and some of their miracle stories.  If you fall in love with one of the dogs,
they’ll even have all the adoption paperwork for you to take home and fill out to get the
process started!
To benefit the dogs, we’ll have hot dogs!  100% of the donations for hot dogs will be
given to the Middleburg Humane Foundation.  To benefit the cats, we’ll donate a
percentage of our Gatto Bianco (which means White Cat in Italian) wine sales that
day to the Middleburg Humane Foundation too. Come fly a kite, enjoy the dogs
(both kinds!) and the wine and help the Middleburg Humane Foundation!
